Excelente playa de algo más de un kilómetro, rodeada de vegetación (eucaliptos), y donde puede practicarse el submarinismo. Pertenece al Parque Natural Marítimo Terrestre de Cabo de Gata-Níjar, recientemente declarado Reserva de la Biosfera.
